A love story from 24′th of Feb – the day of love celebration for Romanians – Dragobete, a kind of Valentine’s.



She made up her mind…today will be the day! After their virtual
relationship that lasted a bit over a year, she thought it’s the right
moment to see who’s laying beneath the mysterious voice, the enduring
person that never failed to support her all this time.
While drinking the hot tea, she unfolds her fresh curls, creating that
gorgeous, wavy, cascade of blonde hair that she knows will be a killer!
The makeup it’s minimal, it’s all about the hair!

She thinks she knows him so well, even though they never
exchanged photos, considering their relationship should be nothing
superficial.She imagined him perfectly each day, in her mind there
is a face for the endless talks and all the support they gave each other.
It’s so real, and it is not surprising she visioned him the way all the
others failed to be.
The guy is short and fat, this is how, he told her, she should recognize him from the crowd, but she knows it’s
a lie, a lie to test her real love for him…Hmm but what if he is?!! That’s
the question she played only in her mind, she would never break the heart
of the beautiful soul that stood along her all this time.


She knows she loves him , but her love is for the guy at the end of the line, the man in the park is
still a stranger though! She knows this might ruin everything, but she felt
it’s the right time to tell him the truth.
She’s looking for her love in the park, and
every guy staring, makes her think that he’s the one…but where’s her love?


She waits on the bench, away from the crowd, for a while, and figures he’ll spot
her right away when he comes.
The wind is blowing, it’s so cold,
but she told him she’ll wear a white shirt so she takes off her coat
..and while thinking: “What was I thinking?”

…someone approaches her from her back. She can’t be more excited, she thinks it’s the guy from her dreams.
…but she is wrong
It’s her childhood neighbor that lived a few blocks away.
It’s the guy that only said hi to her once in a while,
and now he’s approaching her? Obviously she thinks it’s not the right time…



but he smiles
..and now she knows the truth.

This story is inspired from real life, from stories I know about .
It’s a blend of 2 different stories with different endings, one with a sad and disappointing ending and one with a happy ending. But it has also a tiny touch of our personal relationship starting
