Camping in Bucovina

After a long day on road we’ve arrived in Bucovina late and even though it was already dark, we managed to find the perfect place to set the tent. During the day we’ve visited some of the Bucovina’s well known Monasteries, but let me share more about this in my next post, since I have so many pictures from these beautiful places that I’d like to show that this post would get too large. This happens all the time when I make the travel posts, I find it so hard to choose between the many pictures I take, because all the places I’ve visited, were charming. Let me start by showing you the camping places, I especially loved the one we found the first evening, too bad it was not closer to the mountain trails we’ve planned for this trip.

The second night we had to place the tent in an actual camping place, since the rest of the forest is protected area and we couldn’t choose a preferred spot. From there we organised the hiking trips to the near peaks, the coming days. I was really upset because there were some teenagers having a little party in there, celebrating one of the girl’s birthday, not really what I was expected from this trip, but we didn’t have other choices since it was to late to find other places to camp. They had so much fun, and they played this song from Bruno Mars – Marry you, over and over again. They were so cute and I loved their genuine joy and their positive energy, I enjoyed their party from the distance and eventually I ended up regretting when they left.

“Don’t say no, no, no, no-no
Just say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah
And we’ll go, go, go, go-go
If you’re ready, like I’m ready

‘Cause it’s a beautiful night ,
We’re looking for something dumb to do
Hey baby
I think I want to marry you”
