I planned this shooting for quite a while now, but days are getting shorter so I just couldn’t find the time. One day I did manage to finish everything before the sun completely vanished, but my hairstyle was a huge failed donut and I decided to make this other shooting for the outfit. I’ve also been extra motivated by this gorgeous punk gothic glove that I received from Punkravestore to make this shooting ASAP. Besides the glove I also got an interesting jacket from them and I’ll have to think on ways to style it, since it’s getting harder and harder for me to find fitting clothes that match my style and with the items I’d like to review, as well. Velvet is one of my favourite fabrics at the moment and I usually combine it with satin, leather, lace or even cotton, well..with almost anything. But this time I’ve settled on a complete velvet outfit with gray and pink to mauve shades. This purse is really beautiful and elegant but I had in mind more of a casual look, so I went with some gothic, punk accessories and heels, in which the glove is the item that makes my outfit stand out the most.
For my makeup I wanted something more neutral but dramatic at the same time. This is how I’ve decided to wear an entirely gray makeup for my eyes and lips, playing with mate and shine. I didn’t use to wear such unnatural colours for lips, but recently I’ve made a passion over this neutral and unusual shades, like this dark gray Hasley Matte lipstick from MAC, which I’ve lighted it up with a white pencil and I’ve also added some powder on top to make it completely mate. For my eyes I’ve used a mixture of different sheens of gray, using 50-Eternal Silver, Color Tattoo from Maybelline (I really love these eyeshadows and I bought several colours from this collection), Pistol shade from Urban Decay’s Naked2 palette, Garter Belt from Too Faced’s Boudoir Eyes palette and a little shine with NYX extreme silver liquid liner and Amande Vanille from Yves Rocher for the inner corner of my eyes.
