White Pocket was the most secluded place from this road trip. To reach this destination we needed a 4×4 car, one which we already thought about renting when we arrived in Las Vegas, since we knew that we always get to travel to remote places, wherever we end up going. It takes hours to get from the main road to the canyon. The last portion of the road was covered with fluffy sand and even if we knew we should have been able to make it, it was still our first experience of this kind and given the remoteness of this place we were a little afraid of getting stuck somewhere, but it was so much fun to drive through the hills of sand covered with different species of cactuses. We even placed a camera outside the car to capture a video with us driving in those places and I might upload it on youtube when I’ll get the time to go through the videos we’ve made during this trip, someday.
White Pocket Canyon looks so different from the ones you are used to, it’s like a giant brain, white with rocky heels. The canyon is surrounded by fine sand and even with a risk of getting over a scorpion I preferred to have a barefoot walk through the White Pocket. It’s best to be there on sunset, as during the day is really hot to visit, but we planned to return while it was still daylight. This place is so calm and beautiful so we spent hours walking around, hiking the white heels, admiring the landscape and taking lots of photos which I hope you’ll enjoy! Kisses, guys and I can’t wait to show you my new outfits that I thought about yesterday evening.
