We usually have a short Holliday during Spring around my birthday. This is how I like to celebrate it and what I often choose is a trip to the mountains. I’m so happy our country has so much to offer here and I don’t need to search for beautiful places too far from home. The only issue is that Spring weather at the mountains can get really chilly. This was also a bad surprise for us this time. When we arrived we had an unexpected pleasant weather of almost 30°C which in the end turned to 10 times lower and snowing in only 4 days! But this didn’t scare us at all and we tried to take advantage of every day spent there.
I’ve been fascinated of Piatra Craiului Mountains and the laid-back, traditional villages surrounding this site: Magura, Pestera, Sirnea. This region is actually considered one of the most beautiful mountain sites in our country. We choose to stay at Alpine Escape Studios which is a remote place, actually it was the furthest inhabited house from Magura, built on top of a mountain with an astonishing view to the valleys and Piatra Craiului Mountains.
In all of the outfits(except for my celebration dinner) I wore this hat from Zara, which is one of my favourite at the moment and I tried to complete it with clothes that would match the landscape and that would also be really comfortable. I received these shorts from Dressin last year but I didn’t get the chance to wear them until now. I combined them with this beautiful fringed shirt from BSB and a camel fringed bag. I also wear lots of accessories lately and this necklace from Zara is really beautiful and I wore it on several outfits already!
I’m absolutely in love with the camel colour at the moment so I tend to wear it a lot, including in makeup. The uninterruped MAC eyeshadow is a unique, beautiful camel eyeshadow that I wear so much on daily basis. It’s a perfect neutral colour. This time it matched 100% the colour of the bag, which I’ve only noticed when I had a look at the photos.
This is intended to be an outfit post from the evening we arrived there, so I won’t post too many pictures with the landscape in this post as I intend to make other posts especially for that.
The day we arrived was really beautiful and warm and we spent our evening until late at night watching the stars and the beautiful full Moon of which we were granted with for the entire period.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to show you guys my other mountain outfits as well as some dedicated posts from the astonishing Piatra Craiului area and surrounding villages landscapes.
